Adaptive Thermals: Your laptop is smart enough to know when it is in your hands, lap or on a desk. This allows it to intelligently adapt its thermal profiles to stay cool. In-hand discomfort is avoided and full power is unleashed when stationary on a desk for maximum productivity.
Thoughtful engineering
Miniaturized webcam: Within a 3-sided narrow boarder, the 2.7mm webcam has a 4-element lens that uses more elements than a typical webcam to deliver sharp video in all areas of the frame, while temporal noise reduction significantly improves video quality, especially in dim lighting conditions. Finally, the lens is assembled with precise machinery to ensure all points of the image are in focus.

Ready and waiting: A new lid-open sensor will turn on your laptop, even when completely off, so that you can access what you need, when you need it.

Redesigned hinge: Your laptop lifts slightly off the table when open to a 135-degree angle, allowing for increased air circulation underneath your device.

Performance Mode: With the latest version of Dell Power Manager installed, pressing the key combination of Fn + T will allow the user to switch the system power profile, enabling high-performance, regular operation, or cool-and-quiet modes.
